Humour as a force – 2023
These microgrants were created to support the exploration of humour as a force to defend against or counteract authoritarianism and totalitarianism. There are many examples of how humour has been used as a weapon to expose and criticise the abuses and absurdities of power and sometimes as a tool to unite and mobilise people to resist and counteract. How does this happen? What are the conditions? Can this be supported?
