Philea – Strengthening Partnerships for Greater Impact
The Evens Foundation actively collaborates with key philanthropic networks to strengthen democracy, youth participation, and long-term resilience. Through engagement with Philea (Philanthropy Europe Association), we contribute to sector-wide learning, connect with peer organisations, and support collective action on critical societal challenges.
Children and Youth Network
As co-chair of the network, the Evens Foundation helps foster collaboration among funders working on youth engagement and education. We support initiatives that encourage foundation boards to integrate young voices into decision-making and have led workshops on intergenerational dialogue, exploring how different perspectives can shape the future of philanthropy.
Democracy Network
As a steering committee member, the Evens Foundation contributes to strengthening philanthropic responses to democratic challenges across Europe. We initiated a curated whitelist of impactful work around the EU elections and presented key electoral insights to support strategic decision-making within the sector.
In 2025, the Democracy Network launched a new Democracy Briefer for Funders, developed with support from the Evens Foundation.
Futures Philanthropy Network
The Evens Foundation co-designed a major survey mapping underfunded areas and long-term trends in philanthropy, engaging over 200 organisations. We also facilitated discussions on crisis scenario planning, including a session with historian Peter Turchin on the long-term dynamics of societal change.
Through these partnerships, the Evens Foundation reinforces its commitment to fostering collaborative approaches that can address urgent societal challenges and drive systemic change.
