The United States of Europe - An illusion or a necessity?

In a European Union where the word 'Union' seems to have lost its intrinsic meaning and value, we try to seek an answer to the question: Is a United States of Europe all about building bridges – or is it a bridge too far?

The Evens Foundation invites you to this fascinating debate in Brussels on Friday, 21st June 2013 at 7.30 pm.

After the debate, the first Evens Prize for European Journalism will be awarded. This Prize is aimed at recognizing the work of European journalists, living and working in the European Union, who have an impressive record in reporting or commenting on Europe and European affairs, and who have contributed to making Europe more comprehensible to a broad audience.
