Peace Factory Flanders

Since the head office of the Evens Foundation is located in Antwerp, introducing the Peace Factory to Belgium was a natural step. To make the necessary adaptations to the Flemish context, we could count on the professional and willing cooperation of Professor dr. Herman Van Goethem and doctor Veerle Vanden Daelen (University of Antwerp).
The exhibition was launched on 1st October 2009 at the Peace Center of the Province and the City of Antwerp, in the presence of Antwerp's provincial governor, Cathy Berx. Over seven weeks, more than 2,000 children from all over the province visited the exhibition. Teachers in training took care of the reception and support of the pupils during their visit.
