Belfedar

Learn to cooperate while having fun! Preventing violence and managing conflicts differently ...
Belfedar is the fruit of a partnership between the University of Peace and the Evens Foundation. It’s a cooperative game to help develop useful social skills in order to prevent violence and manage conflict positively, through exercises designed to better understand both oneself and others, develop self-esteem, and encourage creative expression, the expression and management of emotions, listening, cooperation, etc.
The 250 challenges offered are active and interactive: mime, drawings, games involving words, writing, movement, singing, and so on.
This game is not only entertaining thanks to its diversity, it is also an opportunity for everyone to exercise their particular talents so that the players combine resources to successfully complete the challenges.
A game for 4–8 players aged over 10.
Duration: 30 to 60 minutes.
The Evens Foundation wishes to present this game in various European languages to raise awareness among educators about positive conflict management within the framework of its Peace Education program. The distribution of the game is only the first step in a larger project. In a second phase, workshops and trainings related to the game will be organized by our partners.
The French version will be the first to appear. It will go on sale from late November at the University of Peace (Belgium and other countries) and Non-Violence Actualité (France).
