VideAntz
VideAntz, a project developed by the Evens Foundation, is coordinated by Chips vzw. It is designed for young people who want to learn how to make videos. The project has two main aims: to help young people to acquire video-making skills and competencies in an informal learning setting, and to encourage them to engage in active citizenship by influencing public opinion and policy.
VideAntz is designed to give young people a platform to express themselves freely; they can use it to shape their own opinions, to influence public opinion, or to directly target policymakers. Young people are generally portrayed by the media as a problem or as victims. This project gives them the opportunity to be active participants and to offer solutions.
