Origin

The Evens Foundation, active since 1996, owes its existence to the generosity of the late Mr. Georges Evens, entrepreneur, philanthropist and European enthusiast of Polish origin. After settling in Antwerp after the Second World War, he made a remarkable career in the diamond industry. With the Evens Foundation, he wished to give back the result of his success to society.
Mrs. Corinne Evens, daughter of the founders, the late Mr. Georges Evens and Mrs. Irène Evens-Radzyminska, is honorary president of the Foundation.
